Mandalay Pictures is a film studio founded in 1995, part of Mandalay Entertainment Group. It teams up with Sony (Columbia Pictures and TriStar Pictures) and Paramount Pictures for most of their films. The founder and CEO is Peter Guber.[1] From 1997 until 2002, Lionsgate Entertainment owned a stake in Mandalay Pictures.[2] In 2009 Mandalay Pictures purchased the rights to do a live action adaptation of the anime Full Metal Panic.[3]
